COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

Thursday, June 11, 2020

Another month on

As our esteemed leaders begin an easing of lockdown, we are remaining cautious and will not be opening our premises (which unfortunately does not lend itself well to social distancing) to visitors any time soon.  We believe this remains in the best interests of both staff and customers at this time.

For the additional protection of staff, we do not have a full quota on site at any one time.  We have been able to maintain a reasonable level of service for website enquiries and orders (supply chain notwithstanding) but are not currently answering telephone calls.

Please therefore continue to contact via the contact page on this website, or indeed via email, if you have already opened a dialogue.  We are doing our best to respond to queries as quickly as possible but would stress that the current environment does impact on response times, which will vary depending on the work load.  We have been and are still receiving an unusually high level of both enquiries and orders, for which we are extremely grateful.  The upshot however is that this inevitably leads to extended response times and we must still ask for your patience in this respect.

It is also worth mentioning that, due to said high demand for products, many items now have extended delivery schedules, as suppliers run out of stock.  We try to update information on the website as much as we can but this information is not always coming to us quickly enough and we cannot guarantee therefore that a product is immediately available, irrespective of what is advised on the product page.  We will acknowledge orders with a realistic delivery schedule, for anything that is not immediately available and, of course, give customers the oppertunity to cancel any order that does not meet their requirements.

In summation, we are open for on-line sales and enquiries as usual but cannot receive visits to our premises for any reason, including collection of orders and machine servicing.  We will update the blog again with any significant changes.

Thanks so much for your continued support and please continue to keep safe.
